Adoption Process
We are still doing initial video meetings before in-person meetings. Why is this you wonder? Well sometimes cats are shy around new people but a video meet-and-greet allows potential adopters to see how cats are when they're comfortable and relaxed in their foster home.
1. Fill out an application - please tell us as much as you can about yourself, your cat experience, the type of cat you're looking for, more information is better.
2. If the cat is still available we will contact you for a phone interview to make sure the cat is a good fit.
3. We will schedule a video meeting with the applicant, foster parent(s) and the cat for approved applications once a phone interview is complete.
4. After meeting the cat during a video meet-and-greet, the applicant can then meet the cat in-person.
5. All paperwork is done digitally.
We are grateful for your support and the many applications we receive for our cats. Please keep in mind we are a volunteer-run rescue and consistently receive a high volume of applications. It can sometimes take up to a week for us to reply to your application. At times, the cat you've applied for already may have an adoption in progress. We do remove cats from the website as soon as the adoption is finalized. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
