Adopt Jinx! (Here's how)

I found a nice quiet corner where I could unwind when I first arrived in my foster home but as soon as a string toy came out, so did I. Nothing says “welcome” better than a fun toy to play with! Within the next 24 hours I was out exploring my new space and asking my foster mom for pets. Now that I’ve been here a couple weeks, I’ve really opened up and am feeling right at home.

 

I love spending time near my foster mom, either napping at her feet while she works or sitting on her lap while watching tv or reading. My foster mom jokes and says I’m Little Miss Jinx Underfoot because I’m always wrapping myself around her ankles or headbutting her legs while she cooks dinner or walks down the hallway. Although I love to cuddle up with her during waking hours, I haven’t slept on the bed with her at night, at least not yet. I didn’t say much when I first met my foster mom but now I quietly chirp when I want to play or hang out, and I happily engage in conversations with her when she talks to me.

 

When it’s time to play, the mini panther in me comes out. I love to hunt and play with all sorts of toys that allow me to show off my hunting skills, and nothing beats a yummy Churu snack after playing as a reward for all of my hard work. Sometimes I get so into character and wound up but don’t worry, I know when to say when and will stop and walk away if I become overwhelmed.

 

I used to be very shy when guests came over and stayed under the bed until they left but recently, I welcomed a guest and even cuddled up next to her and let her give me pets. I ended up hanging out the entire time she was here! I guess I just need time to settle in and really feel comfortable before I feel brave enough to interact with guests. 

 

I’m looking for a family who will give me a little time to settle in so I can adjust and reveal my pawsome purrsonality more quickly. I have so much love to share and I can’t wait to meet my new family!
