Meowdy, my name is Butters! I was rescued off the streets of Daly City. My rescuers called me Butters because with my round cheeks, it looks like I ate a whole stick of butter.

I’m a sweet, easy-going cat with plenty of love to give, and would adore nothing more than getting pets from you. I’ve got a squeaky high pitched meow that slightly contradicts my stocky build, but only use it when I need to get your attention. I’ve got a big heart, with an equally big head I like to use to (softly!) headbutt you for your affection. Otherwise I am more than content to lounge around the house where you are or find the brightest sunbeam to get my photosynthesis on.

I love flopping over for belly rubs and have no problems being picked up. If you want someone to keep your lap warm, I’m the cat for the job! Need someone to provide some purring ASMR? Me again! I’m also fairly food motivated. Nothing gets me going more than a tasty tube of Churu.

Before my fosters took me in, I lived a tense life out on the streets, hiding from coyotes, running from skunks, and getting bullied by racoons. I’ve gotten into scuffles, which lead to me being FIV+. However that won’t stop me from loving you and being the best cuddle bug you will ever meet. With the proper care, I can live a long, healthy life. I would prefer a home with no other cats, but I do get along with some kitties as long as I have time to warm up to them.
