Amelia

Amelia

Hi! I'm Amelia! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA.

I’m a social, curious, playful and gentle Tortie. I guess you can say I’m a little bit of everything good!

I’m very easygoing and quite polite if I don’t say so myself. I never demand anything, although I might suggest things with my tiny and sweet meow. Humans peek my curiousity and I’ll always graciously acknowledge you. I’ll even follow you around to keep you company or if you’re up for it, to get some nice belly rubs and cuddles from you.

I’m also playful and love a good play session. Whether I’m chasing a wand toy or bunny kicking a catnip toy, a daily dose of a active fun always makes me happy. It also helps my overall health. As you can see, I’m a tad bit chonky and am working on getting to a better weight. My foster humans recently transitioned me to wet food and are feeding me at designated times which will also help a lot. No more free fed kibble for me!

I do prefer to be your one and only fur baby. I’m so well-rounded,... purrsonality-wise, not just physically... all you’ll need is me! Are you looking for a pawsome Tortie like me to join your family?

Ashley

Ashley

Hi! We’re Ashley and Slippers, an energetic pair of bonded siblings searching for our forever home. We enjoy doing everything together - from racing up and down our cat tree to observing birds and wildlife in action from our window. When we’re ready to wind down, we stretch out on the bed or cuddle up inside our cozy cave to nap and recharge. We love playing with our foster mom and our favorite games are anything that involves leaping up into the air to catch the feather wand toy!

We’re dreaming of our ideal forever home with someone who spends time at home hanging out and playing with us. Our foster home has resident cats who have been welcoming and curious while we explore. After exploring, we always run back to our foster room for playtime. We’ll thrive in a relaxed environment with routines and a balance of interactive playtime, relaxation to recharge, and some independence to explore our new furever home.

I’m a beautiful gray tabby with gorgeous green eyes that are highlighted with white eyeliner. I’m shy about being pet and picked up, but am learning every day to enjoy physical affection from our foster mom and her friends just like my confident sister, Slippers, who is outgoing and begs for pets. Our foster mom learned quickly that I’m a sucker for Churu treats and will lick them up from her hand while being pet on my head with a fuzzy pom pom wand. She uses the wand to help me appreciate how wonderful pets feel and it works! I love sitting at the top of my cat tree and by the windows to birdwatch and I have lots of fun playing with the feather, spring, and snake toys. I’m curious about my surroundings so you’ll find me exploring and observing my foster mom and resident kitties. I’m looking for someone who will be patient and will continue showing me how fabulous it is to be loved on and pet as much as my sister.

You can see more of us in our foster home. Just click here @ashley_and_slippers to go to our Instagram account.

Autumn

Autumn

Hi! We're Autumn, Daffodil, and Dandelion. We were rescued from a hoarding situation in the Central Valley.

We’re a spunky group of kitten siblings and we’re here to steal your hearts. We’re experiencing a lot of new things these days and might act shy when we first meet you but it only takes us a couple days to realize we can cut the act and start enjoying our kittenhood. We each have our own purrsonalities that bring out the best in one another and once we get going, our purrsonalities kind of blend together because we copy each other. Now that we’ve settled in and are feeling comfortable, we’re having lots of fun and getting into all kinds of silly shenanigans and being loved on by our foster mom.

I’m a gorgeous Calico with cute Tabby markings, aka a Tabico, and I’m the more confident and curious sister. I’m usually the first to explore and to play, which probably has something to do with my high energy level… hehe. I always dominate playtime and both Daffodil and Dandilion appreciate my readiness to take the lead. I’m even confident around the big resident kitties!

I don’t have to be adopted with my brother and/or sister, however, I do need a young and playful furiend in my forever home. If you don’t already have a fun kitty at home, you should consider adopting me with Daffodil or Dandelion, or both!

If you’re looking to add lots of cuteness and fun to your home, you should apply to meet me!

You can see more of me in my foster home here @blocky_buds.

Cadbury

Cadbury

Hi! I'm Cadbury! I was rescued in Doha, Qatar ??. I was living in a colony where a kind human was feeding me and other kitties. She fell in love with me and knew she had to get me off the streets and into a safe home so she took me to a sanctuary where I thrived. When I went to the vet, they found out I'm FIV+. Even knowing how pawesome I am, my rescuers knew it would be difficult finding me a home in Qatar and they worried I might end up back on the streets if in the wrong human hands. So here I am! In the United States looking for my purrfect family.

I'm a friendly but aloof, trusting, gorgeous, and loving kitty with the softest fur and sweetest smiles!

I immediately greeted my foster human, settled in, and shared lots of love with her. I was flopping and rolling around for belly pets in no time. My foster mom is even trying out clicker training with me, and although it took me a minute to catch on, I did so I guess I can add smart to my ameowzing qualities.

I'm a great snuggler and will give you loving head butts for attention. I'll even make some air biscuits when I'm in snuggle-mode.

I traveled across the world to find my forever home and am so excited to finally have a family to share my love!

You see more of me in my foster home here @returnoftheyeti and my vacation foster home here @floofypeets.foster.

Calvin

Calvin

Hi! We're Calvin and Hobbes and boy oh boy do we have an incredible story for you! We were found outside and taken to the Peninsula Humane Society. Sadly no one was looking for us so our journey to finding our furever family began. We were adopted but just a few months later, our previous family decided they didn’t want us anymore ?. They asked that someone from the shelter pick us up from our home but when the person from the shelter arrived, Hobbes was missing!  No one knows what happened to Hobbes, only that he somehow had gotten out of the house. I was taken back to the shelter without Hobbes and I was very distressed being back there without my best furiend. Thankfully Give Me Shelter offered to help by getting me out of the stressful shelter environment and giving me a safe and loving foster home where I can decompress. Then something incredible happened! About a week after I arrived in my foster home, Hobbes was found by a Good Samaritan and taken to the shelter! Hurray! Fortunately, the shelter knew Give Me Shelter wanted to reunite us so the shelter made a very important phone call and now I’m back with Hobbes!

I’m a playful, sweet, and gentle kitty. I’m initially more nervous in new environments than Hobbes is and it takes me a longer to warm up but Hobbes really helps me out by making me feel more at ease. He’s the best!

We both love spending time with humans and receiving attention from them. We’ll ask for pets and cuddle up next to you so it’s easier for you to give us attention, yes, we’re very thoughtful. Hobbes tends to ask for more pets than I do while we’re settling in but I’ll let you in on a little secret… I love them just as much as Hobbes does and am always happy to receive them, it just takes me longer to ask for them.

When we aren’t relaxing in the sun or by the window, we like to play! We have lots of fun playing together and we’re excited to play with all of our new toys. We also love to play with our humans and for me it’s especially a great way to build trust with them more quickly. Whether I’m batting a toy around, leaping for a wand toy, or wrestling with Hobbes, I’m always in when it comes to having some fun!

We're looking for a quieter home with loving humans who know it will take us a little time to open up. Will you give us your patience, love and some sunny spots for naps? We purromise we're worth all of this and more!

You can see more of us in our foster home here @tunaluvrs.

Cheeto Dust

Cheeto Dust

Hi! My name is Cheeto Dust! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA.

I’m a confident, sweet, confident, curious, playful, and did I mention confident? kitty. I love to investigate everything, and boundaries don’t really exist for me because I’m all about being front and center. You’ll find me right by your side when you’re moving from room to room, relaxing on the couch, sitting at your desk, and sleeping on the bed with you. My foster mom says I’m a bit too confident but mostly just when I try to steal her food.

I love to play! I have a few foster furiends in my foster home and we have so much fun romping around together. I have a blast chasing them around and wrestling with them. We even nap together! I also have lots of fun playing with toys. Whether humans are playing with me, furiends are playing with me, or I’m playing by myself, I’m bound to have a good time. Oh, and do sometimes I get random zoomies which are apparently hilarious, or so my foster mom tells me.

I really need a playful furiend in my forever home to keep me company. If you don’t already have a kitty at home, you should think about adopting me with one of my foster furiends, Andy, Wally, and Emmy... they're pawesome!

I’m a super fun and social kitty who will make you laugh and bring lots of love to your home. I don’t want to brag but humans love me and kitties love me too! I’m just so lovable!

You can see more of me in my foster home here @purrfect_purrminators and @gms_shykittyclub.

Chia

Chia

Hi! We're Chia and Sesame! We were rescued in the Central Valley.

I’m a sweet, affectionate and playful Tabby girl with a cute white chest because Tuxedos run in the family.

I’m initially shy in new environments and was even spicy for a minute when I first arrived in my foster home, but my short-lived spiciness wasn’t even hot like cayenne pepper, it was mild like turmeric... hehe.  Once, one of our foster mama’s friends called me a little lioness right before picking me up and giving me lots of pets. My teeny lioness hiss didn’t scare her even a little bit. I laugh about it now because spending time with my foster human is one of my favorite things to do!

Once we’ve spent a little time together, I’ll show you my sweet, cuddly and affectionate side… this goes for both humans and kitties. I made furiends with one of the previous foster kittens here and started following him around and even napping with him. He was quite confident and I cerrtainly learned a lot from him. One of the most noteworthy things I learned is that being right next to humans comes with lots of rewards like pets, kisses, compliments and sometimes even a yummy treat.

It took me a little time to get used to all of the unfamiliar things around here and some of the sounds still sometimes startle me but only the really loud ones. My foster mama has been telling me how much fun it is watching me open up and reveal a little more of my adorable purrsonality each and every day.

I'm bonded with my sister Sesame and we're looking for a home together.

We're so excited to meet our new family and have lots of fun with them!

You can see more of me in my foster home here @blocky_buds.

Chip

Chip

Hi! I’m Chip! I was rescued with my sister and brothers from a field in Galt, CA.

I’m a gentle, lovable, confident, and energetic kitten with a gorgeous ticked coat. I guess you can say I’m beautiful both inside and out. I look very similar to my brother Dillon so when people ask me how to tell us apart, I just tell them I’m the cuter one.
My foster human says I’m the cuddliest of the bunch. I love to be a part of the action, so much that my foster human calls me her little shadow. I’ve learned that being a part of the action involves lots of cuddles from humans and I’m all for it!

I’m always up for playing and put my heart into it every time. I’m hilarious to watch when I play, as I bounce around and jump in the air - just because I’m a kitten and I can! And when I’m not playing with a toy, you’ll find me rolling around and tussling with my siblings.

I really need a playful furiend in my forever home to keep me company. I would love to be adopted with one of my brothers or my sister, but if you already have a playful kitten at home who’s looking for a best furiend, I would love that too!

You can see more of me in my foster home here @rsinr.

Churu

Churu

Hi! I'm Churu! I was struggling to survive on the streets in Daly City but lucky for me, a Good Samaritan found me and took me in after noticing I had a wound. After receiving the medical care I needed, I made it clear I didn’t want to go back outside after being in a safe and comfortable home.

I’m a shy, playful, and affectionate kitty. I’m still building my confidence in my new indoor environment and learning the ins and outs of the indoor life. For example, when my foster mom is on the bed and I want attention, I’m not sure what I should do. Do I jump up onto the bed and go to her? Do I wait down below and wait for her to come to me? I just need a little guidance when it comes to situations like this until I learn the answers.

Although I'm still shy, I'm not too shy to show my playful and affectionate sides. I love playing with wand toys and really anything with feathers. Playing with me is a great way to help me build my confidence and it will also make you smile. It’s a win-win! And when I’m ready to relax with you, I’ll rev up my purr motor, ask for pets, and even roll over for some belly rubs.

I’m looking for a quieter home with a patient and loving family who will continue to show me all of amazing things that come along with my new indoor life. I feel so lucky to be off the streets and given the chance at a safe and carefree life!

Dillon

Dillon

Hi! I’m Dillon! I was rescued with my sister and brothers from a field in Galt, CA.

I’m a super cute, friendly, spunky, and inquisitive kitten with beautiful ticked fur. I look very similar to my brother Chip but it’s really quite easy to tell us apart because I’m the cuter one.

Life has been great since arriving in my foster home. I never could have imagined life could be so good after such a rough start in life trying to survive in the not-so-great outdoors. I’ve been super busy goofing around and playing with all of the toys, my siblings, and my foster mom. I love wand toys and toy mice, and really anything that moves. I must be very entertaining to watch because my foster mom is always smiling and laughing during playtime, and you know what, I am too!

Sure, I love to play but I always make time for cuddling too. Whether it’s cuddling with my siblings or my foster human, nothing beats a cuddle session to wind down. And sometimes I just need to take a quick snooze to recharge so I can, you guessed it, play again!

I really need a playful furiend in my forever home to keep me company. I would love to be adopted with one of my brothers or my sister, but if you already have a playful kitten at home who’s looking for a best furiend, I would love that too!

Emmy

Emmy

Hi! I'm Emmy! I was rescued from the streets in SF.

I’m an adorable, sweet, playful and gentle kitty. I come across as being reserved, especially for a kitty my age, but I’m not shy, I’m just enjoying my new found stress-free and pampered indoor life. I guess you could say I’m an aspiring princess.

I’m still working on building my confidence in my foster home and will need a family who will continue to help me out. I just need some encouragement, but don’t worry, I’m eager to learn. You can easily pick me up and place me on your lap while we're getting to know one another and I’m happy to stay and spend some quality time with you. At night, I'll join you on the bed because I love sleeping close to my human. I also like to play and guess what! Playing with me will certainly give my confidence a boost!

I was a little unsure of the other kitties here when I first arrived but now they're my furiends and we're having lots of fun together. I would love to have a young furiend to hang out with in my furever home. If you don't already have a kitty at home, you should check out my foster furiends Andy, Wally, and Cheeto Dust because I already get along with them and they're also looking for their furever homes!

So what do you think? Do I sound like the purrfect kitty for you?

Fizzy

Fizzy

Hi! I'm Fizzy! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA.

I’m a confident, playful, affectionate, chatty and energetic kitty.

Here are some (but not all) things that make me so special:

Playtime Prodigy: I LOVE to play! Whether I’m darting across the room, jumping over baby gates, or leaping from shelf to counter, my energy and agility are unmatched. I even play fetch with my little toys – talk about talent!

Blanket Burrito Expert: I have a soft spot (literally) for cozy blankets where I can make daily biscuits. I’ll melt your heart kneading away and hiding under covers, my favorite little hideout.

Curious and Observant: A window perch and some catnip, and I’m one happy kitty! I’m a treat lover (especially Churu) and enjoy wet food, making it easy to spoil me just a bit, or a lot.

Chatty and Engaging: I’m quite the conversationalist! I’ll chirp and chat with you throughout the day, especially if I’m craving a little extra attention. My adorable sounds are sure to make you smile.

Independent yet Inquisitive: While not exactly a lap cat, I’m always nearby, curious about what’s going on and exploring my surroundings. I’m somewhat of an independent spirit but love knowing you’re close by.

Although I’m very active and may not settle on your lap, I’ll definitely steal your heart with my joyful antics and love for companionship. I’m happiest when I have the freedom to roam and be part of the household activity. If left alone in a closed room, I’ll let you know with my adorable (though persistent) meows – I just love to be near my people! And I also love furry companionship too and would benefit from having a furiend around who will appreciate my playful nature.

If you’re looking for a lively, chatty, and social cat, look no further! I'm right here!

Freda

Freda

Hello! We're Freda and Holly! We were rescued with our sisters from a backyard in San Francisco and we're so glad to meet you.

I’m a sporty, dynamic Tortoiseshell with a bit of spicy “tortie” personality to match. I can be a bit feisty at first, says the Tortie… hehe,  but all I need is some time to relax and for us to get to know one another and then my playful personality will emerge.

I love to play with the cat dancer toy and am quite the flying acrobat! Another way to my heart is offering me some treats and I’ll even lick Churus right off your finger. After some time and some play, I’ll happily welcome some head scratches and pets and will give you a little tap if I want more!

I love spending time by the windows so I can surveil the neighborhood and like to meow at the people passing by. I would be happy as an only cat while I’m finding my rhythm in my new home.

I will likely start off shy, but running laps around a cat tunnel and being provided with a rousing DaBird play session will soon bring out my exuberant purrsonality!

I’m looking for a kind and patient, cat savvy human. My sometimes sweet and sometimes sassy purrsonality will win your heart!

Goldie Hawn

Goldie Hawn

Hi! We're Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell but you can call us Goldie and Kurt! We were rescued from a hoarding situation in Contra Costa County.

How cute are we?! Well according to our foster human and every other human who has met us, we’re the cutest! But wait, there’s more… we have winning purrsonalities too! We’re confident, curious, gentle, affectionate and playful.

We immediately explored our foster home side by side when we first arrived. We had lots of new things to check out and we were ready and willing to get started. While exploring we came across toys and immediately knew we were going to have lots of fun here. We enjoy playing with toys but we also love to chase each other and create our own wrestling matches. Our playtime antics always make humans laugh.

Yes, we love each other very, very much but we also love human companionship and we aren’t shy about asking for attention. Pets? Kisses? Cuddles? We’re ready for them all and will purr to let you know how much we love them. Even when you’re sleeping at night, we’ll be on the bed with you so we’re there to say good morning when you wake up.

I'm certainly making the most of my nine lives. Soon after I was rescued, I developed an upper respiratory infection that was treated but I didn’t seem to be fully recovering from it. I then lost my appetite and after several veterinary visits, including to the ER, the doctors determined I had FIP. Fortunately, the treatment is now available so the rescue was able to have their vet prescribe it for me. After 84 days of treatment and another 84 days of observation that began after my final treatment, I’m ready for adoption. I'm officially a FIP survivor! YAY!

We have the biggest hearts with lots of love to give to our forever family! We’re two peas in a pod and will bring lots of laughs and love to our forever home.

You can see more of us in our foster home here @purrfect_purrminators.

Hazel

Hazel

Hi! My name is Hazel and I’m an absolute sweetie! I was rescued in the Central Valley.

I’m gentle, curious, affectionate, and as you can see in my photos, I’m blind. I had an infection when I was younger that went untreated for too long and as a result, I lost my vision.

When I arrived in my foster home I immediately set out to explore and figure out the layout. That same night I was already climbing on top of things and I even slept on the pillow with my foster human! I love humans and love being loved by them. I figured out how to climb up onto my foster human’s lap on Day 1 because that’s a priority in my book. Laps are the best places to receive pets and scritches, are they not? I also love to follow my foster human around the house and I guess it’s super cute because my foster human tells me that every time I do it.

I haven’t shown much of a playful side yet but I really enjoy the company of other cats and would love to have a furiend in my forever home. I’m the purrfect companion to other kitties if I say so myself. I get along great with other kitties, especially those who are more into sunbathing and chilling on a perch or a lap and less into running around and bouncing off the walls.

I have an abundance of love to give and can't wait to share it all with my forever family!

Hershey

Hi! I'm Hershey! I was rescued in Doha, Qatar ??. I was rescued from a colony where a caring human was feeding me and other kitties. She fell in love with me and knew I needed to get off the streets so she took me to a sanctuary where I flourished and showed just how pawsome I am. Then I went to a doctor to be vetted and that’s when they found out I'm FIV+. Unfortunately humans in Qatar think differently about FIV+ cats than they do here in the US so even knowing how amazing I am, my rescuers knew it would be difficult finding a home there and they worried I might end up back on the streets if in the wrong human hands.

I'm a handsome, confident, smart, sweet, and energetic kitty.

I was excited to greet my foster human and check out my foster home when I arrived. I settled in quickly and now I'm having such a great time playing, exploring, bird watching, receiving lots of attention, and relaxing. This indoor lifestyle is incredible! I get to chase and jump for toys, eat lots of yummy food, sleep on laps, and hang out with humans. I don't think it can get any better than this!

I'm looking for a home where I have lots of space to explore and run around, preferably with a multi-human family so I can receive lots of interactive playtime, love and attention. My energy will make you smile and my warmth will melt your heart!

One more thing, I started to get a little itchy on my tummy and started over grooming. They thought I might have a food allergy so they switched my chicken based food to a limited ingredient food with beef, duck, or venison and guess what! I’m feeling so much better now! Yay! I love to eat wet food and have a hearty appetite and will need my forever family to continue feeding me a limited ingredient diet but don’t worry, my food is available at almost all pet stores, both locally and online.

I’m a friendly, affectionate, and playful kitty. It can take me a few days to begin warming up in new environments but I’ve gone through some big changes these past several months and I just want to make sure it’s safe to open up and reveal my loving purrsonality.
I’m the more confident one and lead the way with Calvin by my side. Once I’m feeling comfy in my new environment, my curiosity kicks in and before you know it I’ll be walking around checking everything out and head bumping for pets. Hello! We're Holly and Freda! We were rescued with our sisters from a backyard in San Francisco and we're so glad to meet you.

I’m a very sweet and a little chatty Tortoiseshell without the spicy “tortie” purrsonality. I’ll greet you at the door when you come into a room and be sure to stay close with a few rubs on your legs, ready for lots of head scratches and belly rubs!

I love to play with you, and my favorite toys are the laser and the feather cat dancer. I can chase the laser around the room forever, and will show off my acrobatics for the feather cat dancer when it flies by.  Lately I have added Peacock feathers to my list of favorite toys. I can't resist Peacock feathers disappearing under a blanket! Laser chasing and DaBird play sessions will bring out my trust and confidence.

I love spending time in the window watching the neighborhood go by and can’t wait to see yours! I have a streak of independence, but also get along well with my sisters and at times you'll find me snuggled up with Freda at bedtime. I LOVE treats, especially churus, and will be the first in line when it’s treat time.

I am in search of my forever home with a human looking for kitty love and will become your best friend and companion. I will be shy at first, but we’ll be playing and starting up the snuggling in no time.

Izzy

Hi! We're Izzy and Mimi! We were rescued from a cat colony in Tracy, CA. We’re tuxedo twinsies with complementary purrsonalities.

I’m a confident, friendly and energetic kitten. I’m the confident sister and am quick to warm up to new humans, new environments, and even new furiends. When I see the resident cat I purr up a storm and run over to him to rub up against his super floofy fur. I take the lead when it comes to meeting new humans and animals, exploring new environments, and playing with toys. I like to think of myself as the big sister and am always looking out for Mimi to make sure she feels comfortable.

I love to play and have lots of energy to keep play sessions going strong whether they’re with our foster human or my sister Izzy, or both! Wand toys, tunnels, plush mice… you name it, I’ll play with it. I especially love to show off my hunting skills when the wand toy comes out! And when I’ve exhausted my energy, I’m all about snuggling with my sister for a power nap.

Are you looking for two adorable Tuxedo sisters to add to your family? We’ve come a long way from our colony days and are really starting to feel safe living our new lifestyle. We’re loving all of the yummy treats and fun playtime we’re getting and will continue to need some encouragement from our new family so we become the best kitties we can be!

We're Julius and Rambo! We were rescued in the Central Valley. We’re two brothers from another mother, but united as furever family!

I’m a curious but cautious kitty when I'm in a new environment. I’m not as forward and boastful as my brother right off the bat. I’m very aware of my world and will explore all the nooks and crannies while Rambo karate’s off every surface around me. I’m a little cautious around new people and like it when you make the first couple cuddle moves, but once I’m in your arms, my purr motor takes off!

We zoom around the house and superman off sofas. Occasionally we get distracted and start doing our own things, and that’s when I might detour… but Rambo grabs my attention and directs me back to our favorite wrestling spots for more rumbling and tumbling. It’s all day wrestle-mania starring Rambo and Julius for your entertainment.

Sometimes we need our human to pick us up to remind to take breaks and that human snuggles are just as fun, and we’ve already learned that they really are! We’ll even insta-purr when someone picks us up. Our favorite spot is right on your chest where we can boop our noses with yours… but be ready for the love bites… hehe.

Together, we’re the perfect dynamic of bashful and boastful, with a passion for cuddles and play. Apply to meet us!

You can see more of us in our foster home here @ramboandjuliuscuteness.

Kitters

Kitters

Hi! I'm Kitters! I was rescued at Sacramento SPCA. I'm a big and handsome tuxedo and nothing matters more to me than getting loved on by my humans.

I'm a very confident and friendly cat. When I first arrived at my foster home I walked out of the carrier as soon as the door opened and when my foster mom laid her hand on my head, I immediately started purring. I walked a few laps around the house to check things out, but quickly went back to my foster mom to receive more pets. I'm very adaptable and not a scaredy cat.

I'm a people cat because I always love to be close to you. Whether you’re going to the kitchen, bathroom or bedroom, I'll follow you around the house like a dog. I'll look at you with my big round eyes and push my head into your hand until you cave in and pet me. At night, I love to sleep in bed with you. Whether it's on your chest or between your legs, being right next to you makes my heart feel so content.

I bet I’m the best purrer you’ll ever meet. I constantly purr like an engine when I’m being pet, and even when I’m just laying next to you. One of my quirks is that when you stop petting me, I often will politely tap your hand or shoulder with my paw to let you know that I’m not ready for the petting session to end yet! I also love it if you hug me or put your head against my head.

I'm easy-going but there are couple things I'm insistent on. The first thing is my yummy prescription food. It helps me feel my best so it's important my future family continues to feed it to me. And I'm a bit on the chunky side so I'm on a weight loss program but it's no biggie. I eat dry food so all it means is that my meals are measured to make sure I lose weight safely. The second thing is no other cats. I'm not a fan of them and have historically been reactive to them. You've probably heard of cats being dog reactive? Well I can be cat reactive and it's important that I'm not exposed to other cats, even cats that are on the other side of windows and doors because they can upset me.

I'm looking for a home with a family who has cat experience but doesn't have kids or other furry family members so I can soak up every last bit of your love and attention. If you’re feeling lonely, I’ll make the best companion for you. I’d love to go home with you today!

Kurt Russell

Kurt Russell

Hi! We're Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn but you can call us Kurt and Goldie!

Yes, we love each other very, very much but we also love humans companionship and we aren’t shy about asking for attention. Pets? Kisses? Cuddles? We’re ready for them all and will purr to let you know how much we love them. Even when you’re sleeping at night, we’ll be on the bed with you so we’re there to say good morning when you wake up.

As you can see in my photos, I have long fur and really need our forever family to brush it regularly to keep me looking my best. Goldie is always willing to groom me and while I do appreciate her doing what she can to keep my fur looking good, she just can't do as good of a job as a brush can do. Oh, and please don't tell her I told you this. I don't want to hurt her feelings.

We have the biggest hearts with lots of love to give to our forever family! We’re two peas in a pod and will bring lots of laughs and love to our forever home.

You can see more of us in my foster home here @purrfect_purrminators.

Liam

Liam

Hi! My name is Liam! I was rescued in Stockton, CA. I was adopted from a shelter in Stockton when I was a kitten but recently ended up back at the shelter after a Good Samaritan found me abandoned on the streets. I was thankful to be off the streets but sad to be at the shelter again. Lucky for me Give Me Shelter offered to help me find a home and now I’m off the streets, out of the shelter, and in a foster home! Yay!

I’m a friendly, confident, curious, chatty, and affectionate Tuxedo kitty. Oh, and handsome! I can’t forget to point out my elegant and stylish appearance.

I was taken to a vet when I arrived in San Francisco because the shelter told Give Me Shelter my vision is impaired. The doctor did a blood pressure test to make sure the impairment isn’t related to my blood pressure and thankfully it isn’t, whew, so no treatment needed, yay! The doctor suspects I’m blind but you would never know it when you see me exploring heights and navigating around rooms like a pro. I mapped out my foster home within minutes, and there are even stairs here! Oh, and when I was at the vet, I jumped down from the exam table without hesitation and effortlessly explored the room.

I made sure to show off my affectionate side when I first arrived in my foster home. I spent most of the time relaxing and snoozing on my foster mom’s lap. Yes, I’m a lap cat and laps are one of my favorite spots to spend time. Once I made it clear how sweet and loving I am, I started spending more time roaming the house and picking out my other favorite spots.

I’m very easy to handle, will happily strike up conversations with you, and love receiving pets. I also love food, especially wet food, so I would love for my furever family to continue feeding me yummy wet food.

If you’re looking for a distinguished kitty with an admirable purrsonality, you should apply to meet me!

Louie

Louie

Hi! I'm Louie! I was rescued at Peninsula Humane Society.

Let me be honest with you, I am truly a charming and fun cat, but also have a naughty side to me. Let me tell you how awesome I am first. I am a sweet, playful, and energetic young cat. When you come home, I’ll run to greet you at the door with cuddles and kisses. I adore playing with moving objects, especially wand toys. I thrive in a setting where humans can commit their energy to playing with and stimulating me. I also enjoy relaxing and watching humans do chores around me. I’m not particularly vocal but make it clear when I want to play interactively with the humans around me.

I love being around humans; I’m comfortable and outgoing when meeting new humans. When sleepy, I always find myself purring in someone’s lap and enjoying pets and head-rubs. I’ll frequently place a gentle paw on my companion’s arms and cheeks to let them know I want more chin rubs. I also appreciate being groomed with a brush while I relax. I can sometimes become a little overstimulated so I need a family who respects this.

I am extremely smart and am easy to train with clicker training. I know how to sit, high five, jump on command, and spin; currently, I’m learning to wait and stay before getting a treat placed on the floor in front of me. I’m highly inquisitive and love investigating all the nooks and crannies inside and observing all the activity outside through the window.

Despite my inquisitiveness, I’m respectful of furniture and avoid scratching or chewing on objects around the home — besides my designated scratching posts. I love sitting atop my perch on a couch or table where I can see the activities going on around me. I would also appreciate a larger living space, no studio apartments for me.

I sound pretty great, right? Well, I can be a bit naughty and frankly a bit of a brat at times. Sometimes when super smart cats like me get bored we can be “bad”. Am I really “bad”? It’s all a matter of perspective I suppose. I was raised as an only cat, so I didn’t really learn some manners. Like when you move me it’s not ok, I can give a bit of attitude and at times be a little bitey. What I need is someone who is alpha to me, someone who can be the boss of me and not let me push them around. Are you up for the up for the challenge?

Other cats? Well, that’s kind of up in the air. At first, I thought no way, but now I’m in foster with other cats and they can play with me. But I will let you know, if there’s another kitty in my life they need to be pretty confident. I can go either way, I can be your only cat or go with a cat furiend. What I really need is a family that is appreciative of my naughty ways and help me learn my manners.

I’m looking for an adult only family who will play with me, chill with me, and most of all, love me!

Marshall

Marshall

Hi! I'm Marshall! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA.

I’m a confident, sweet, curious, playful and affectionate kitty with master level purrs and some serious biscuit making skills.

I didn’t waste any time checking out my foster home and meeting my foster family when I first arrived. I love receiving attention so I only hid for about 5-10 minutes before I came out to explore and introduce myself.

I love to play and have the energy to make playtime lots of fun. Count me in when the wand toy comes out! I’ll chase it and jump up in the air for it until I win by catching it. I understand that humans aren’t always available to play with me but I have lots of other toys, like my mouse, that I’ll happily play with on my own. There isn’t another kitty in my foster home but having a furiend to play with would be fun too.

When I’m ready for some down time, I like to hang out in my bed making biscuits or hanging out with you. Although I’m not much of a lap cat, I do like to be near my humans. Whether I’m enjoying some pets and cheek scritches or just laying about lazily with them, I’m a happy kitty when I’m part of group.

Are you ready to add lots of cuteness and fun to your home? Apply to meet me!

Mimi

Mimi

Hi! We're Mimi and Izzy! We were rescued from a cat colony in Tracy, CA. We’re tuxedo twinsies with complementary purrsonalities.

I’m a sweet, shy and playful kitten. I’m the shy sister and it takes me some time to open up in new environments and around new humans. I tend to err on the side of caution but steadily gain confidence each and every day. Thankfully I not only have my foster human to support me but I also have my sister Izzy to help me out! I feel best when she’s around because I know I can trust her. Watching her interact with the resident kitty, our foster human, and everything around us helps give me the courage to do the same.

When it’s time to play, count me in! I love to play and I’m not picky when it comes to toys. I even have fun chasing my sister’s tail… hehe! My energy really kicks in when Izzy and I catch the zoomies. Not only do we love it but our foster human seems to as well because she laughs and tells us how silly we are. After an exhausting play session, nothing beats a cuddly snooze with my sister.

Miss Scarlett

Miss Scarlett

Hi! I’m Miss Scarlett! I was rescued from the Hesperia shelter in Southern California. I have a big personality and I love being with my person. Whether I’m hanging out on the couch with them or sleeping next to them, I’m always happy to spend time with them. I’m super confident and friendly. If you have friends over, I’ll be out and about to greet them. I love to play and can self entertain with a tunnel, mouse toy or a spring toy, but I really enjoy it when my person grabs a feather or wand toy and plays with me.

What I’m not a fan of is other cats. I’m currently in a foster home with other cats but I would be happiest if I got to be on my own and be the queen bee of my castle.

I arrived at the shelter with really bad skin issues as a “stray” kitty. Unfortunately, since I really can’t tell you my story, we don’t know the history of how my skin got to be that way. You’ll see that I have some missing hair and the vet thinks that it probably won’t grow back. There are three theories why the vet thinks I had the skin issue: 1) I had a severe allergic reaction to a flea collar, 2) I have a severe food allergy reaction to chicken or beef which caused me to scratch a ton, or 3) somebody did something bad to me and it caused the damage to my skin, but we don’t like to think about that one too much. You’ll also see that my right eye is a little squinty. The vet thinks that is due to the damage to my skin but there’s not actually anything wrong with my eye so nothing to worry about there.

After treating me with both holistic and conventional medical care and a food change to remove chicken and beef, my skin has healed dramatically and I’m feeling so much better. I’m currently eating this yummy food: Instinct Minced Real Rabbit Recipe. I’m a huge fan of food and can become chunky if my human doesn’t manage my food intake so it’s best if I’m fed twice a day, which is just two servings of my favorite food. The rescue thinks with this change to my diet, my skin will continue to be happy and healthy.

I know I can look a little quirky with my winky eye and my missing fur but I hope you can look past these quirks and see how adorable I really am. I really do have a winning purrsonality so any investment you make in me is 100% worth it. I absolutely love my humans, receiving attention, and playing. I do want to let you know that I also love to give love bites but I’m never aggressive. I’m a real sweetheart and I would love to finally find my forever home! Could it be with you?

Misty

Misty

Hi! My name is Misty! I was rescued in Kahramanmaras, Turkey after a Good Samaritan alerted Help Street Cats and Dogs, a local rescue that helps neglected, abused street cats and dogs. I was unsteady on my feet and having trouble walking while trying to survive on the streets. The rescue volunteers got me off the streets and took me to a vet. After many tests and x-rays, the doctors couldn't find anything wrong that would explain my unsteadiness but they did discover I was deaf. After receiving lots of love and care in a safe foster home, I regained my strength and ability to walk normally again! I thrived under the care of the foster volunteer in Turkey and became the beautiful, loving, and cheeky girl I am today. Kitties like me have little chance of finding a home in Turkey so with the help of @helpstreetcatsdogs and Maddie the flight volunteer, I flew across the world to find my forever family!

The first, and probably the most important thing you need to know about me is I LOVE love. There is no pet, scritch or snuggle I've met that I have not enjoyed. I welcome all forms of loving attention. I like to bonk my head and rub my body up against your leg to give you a kitty hug, and my purr sounds like an engine with a cute little squeak to it. I’m beautiful both inside and out! Just look at my stunning white fur mixed with unique markings on my head and face. Although I can’t hear my foster human, I know she’s telling me how pretty and precious I am.

I’m very well-behaved and my confidence is blossoming more and more every day. I am sometimes startled but I’m still getting used to my new environment. I might give a small hiss or a loud meow but immediately forget about it and continue on with whatever I was doing. My foster human smiles, and probably laughs, because I’m not a diva but can be a little dramatic when surprised, in the cutest way of course. I’m beginning to figure out how to play with the toys here and I think I’m really getting the hang of it. It almost seems to come naturally!

There’s a resident kitty here who’s three times my size (and orange!) and I'm even warming up to him. I’ll be happy having a feline furiend in my furever home or being your one and only kitty. I can’t wait to meet my new family and share all of my love with them!

Mya

Mya

Hi! I'm Mya but my foster pawrents call me Princess Mya! I was rescued in Tracy, CA.

My foster meowmy says I'm a smart, affectionate, classy, playful and sometimes opinionated little girl. When she thinks I'm not listening, I hear her tell people I'm an exquisitely, gorgeous little specimen... I don't know what that means but it must be good.

I'm stunning and I know it.  I once looked at myself in a mirror and instead of doing that goofy kitten prancing stuff, I just stood there and admired myself. Humans obviously agree because they immediately want to pet me and hold me as soon as they see me. I can be a little bossy when picked up without having granted permission to do so, however once properly settled into a lap for my royal massages, I quickly forgive and provide countless lady-like purrs.

I've been busy playing, relaxing, and watching my CatTV shows. My foster meowmy always laughs at my CatTV preferences. She doesn't understand why a city princess like myself has such interest in horses, cows and chickens... tehee. When relaxing on the top of my cat tree perch near the ceiling, I observe all below. It's soothing to watch my foster pawrents and foster furiend Woody from above. At first I didn't particularly care for my new foster roommate Woody, but after a few days, he won me over with his silliness and charm. Now we like to snuggle and tussle like we're sister and brother.

I might be a little shy at first, but I have a fun-loving and adventurous spirit. Now that I've settled in, I'm even enjoying meeting new humans. Just a few weeks ago, I met eight new humans and was pleased to sniff their fingers and accept their adorations. I just need a slow introduction to my new environment, a room by room introduction works best for me!

I'm looking for a castle where my humans will adore me and let me adore them. And I do need a furiend in my castle to play with and keep me company. If you don't already have a kitty at home, you should consider adopting my foster furiend Woody too. No awkward introduction needed because we already get along!

I'm just about as a purrfect kitten as you could desire. Apply for me and find out for yourself!

One-Eyed Jack

One-Eyed Jack

Hi! I'm One-Eyed Jack! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA.

You’ve heard of One-Eyed Jack, The King of the High Seas, right? Well, I’m One-Eyed Jack, The King of the High Shelves!

I’m a bundle of energy, sass, love and charm! I don’t just play – I perform. I leap like an acrobat, pounce with precision, and will keep you entertained for hours with my love of feather toys, catnip, and anything that rolls. I have lots of energy that requires stimulation and interaction. A confident and playful furiend who I can romp around with and entertaining humans who play with me are what I need to keep me happily entertained.

My favorite spot? The highest perch in the room, where I can keep an eye on my kingdom. Yes, I’m an adventurer, but I have a gooey soft side too. When I’m not scaling heights or plotting my next quest, I love curling up on a lap for purring sessions and cozying up with you during quiet times. I enjoy pets but for me there is too much of a good thing so I might ask you to stop petting and just sit back and enjoy my cuddles.

Tis’ the season to give yourself the best gift of all: me! I’m a quirky, playful, and fiercely loyal friend who will bring love, laughter, and adventure to your ship—err, I mean home.

Onyx

Onyx

Hi! I'm Onyx! I was rescued at Peninsula Humane Society. I lost my previous home and family soon after I was forced to live with another cat. I was not happy sharing my space with another cat and started showing signs of stress. Sadly, my previous family decided the solution was to surrender me.

I’m a mellow, sweet and handsome silver and white Tabby. I’m initially shy but I’ve been through some major changes lately which hasn’t really helped my confidence. Thankfully there’s a cozy kitty cave here so that’s where I headed to decompress. I spent most of the first few days in my cave while my foster pawrents came to me to offer comforting pets and treats. I wasn’t too interested in either but a few days later I walked out of my cave and even though I was still feeling shy, I asked for pets!

Two of my most favorite things are head scratches and laps. I’ll jump up on your lap and rub up against you while purring away. Sometimes I prefer to just lay next to you, all while emitting affection by looking up at you with my sweet eyes. I’ll even greet you when you come home and roll over to show off my belly.

I’m a very mellow cat and often spend the day snoozing in my bed. I’ll be present and say hello in the morning and then after a nice long afternoon relaxing and napping, I’ll come out again to explore and hang out with you. I’m not very interested in toys but will occasionally play when the laser toy or a stringy or feathery toy comes out. I might pounce or bat at it a few times before losing interest and going back to chilling with you.

If you ask me, food is more exciting than toys… hehe. I love mealtime and will do my cute little flops to get breakfast and dinner. I’m currently eating yummy wet food diet and it makes me so happy. I really need my new family to continue feeding me wet food. What’s that saying? Happy cat, happy life? Yes, I think that’s it.

I do still have some shy/nervous behaviors I’m working on that I need my new family to understand. I become nervous when I feel cornered or when someone is intruding into my safe area. And I sometimes become excitable prior to receiving my meal. I might give a hiss or pounce at your feet but please know, it’s just my way of letting you know I’m feeling a little anxious.

I’m looking for a calm and quiet adult only home where I can relax and share lots of love. My previous family let me down but I know there’s a loving family out there for me. Maybe it’s you!

Palmer

Palmer

Hi! I'm Palmer! After being with my previous family my entire life, I was surrendered because I'm not really tolerant of children and there was a toddler in the home. I was sad and heartbroken but lucky for me Give Me Shelter is helping me find a new family!

I’m a handsome, social and confident cat. I was immediately comfortable when I first arrived in my foster home and even let my foster human pick me up and hold me. Resting my front paws on my human’s shoulder and nuzzling my head into their chin and neck while being held makes me feel so loved. And I love receiving pets although for me, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. I can sometimes become a bit over stimulated when I’m held for too long or pet for too long and will give a gentle nip to let you know when I’ve reached that point if you haven’t already picked up on my cues.

I’m a social cat and enjoy meeting new humans. I’ll run to the door to say hello when I hear someone and sometimes the neighbors stop and chat with me. Being the social cat I am, I have lots of fun playing with my foster human. The fleece wand toys are my favorites but I also fun playing by myself with some of my other toys. And although I'm a mature cat, I sometimes still get random bursts of energy and will run around and up and down my kitty tower which makes my foster human laugh. I’m also quite curious and I know it’s such a stereotype but I can be demanding when I want a closed door to be open. But don’t worry, my curious nature doesn’t translate to being impolite. I don’t wake up my foster human at night or jump onto counters or other places I shouldn’t be just because I’m a curious cat.

I’m looking for a loving adult-only family and a forever home where I can be the one and only kitty of the house. I was with my previous family my entire life and it was a bit traumatic for me when I lost them and my home. I need a patient family who understands this and who will give me some time to bond with them. I know my family is out there and I can't wait to meet them!

Phoebe Fluffay

Phoebe Fluffay

Hi! My name is Phoebe Fluffay! I was found on the streets in San Francisco and I’m ready to trade life on the streets for a safe and comfortable life indoors.

I’m a gorgeous, sweet, and mellow ear tuft goddess with master level purrs. I’m an affectionate kitty and will rub against you while soliciting pets, although I’m not really a lap cat… yet. And while I love receiving pets, I’ll let you know when I’ve had enough with a gentle paw tap (cue the tortitude). I really don’t need much fussing over because I’m quite happy just hanging out on my tree by the window and occasionally batting my toys around the room.

I’ll be happiest in a stable home environment with an experienced cat family. I feel most comfortable around adults and mature teens, and although there aren’t any other cats in my foster home, I was living on the streets with other cats and would enjoy the company of another kitty in my forever home.

I'm finally going to live the good life I deserve and I can't wait to meet my new family!

Piccolo

Hi! I'm Piccolo! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA.

I'm a sweet and playful seal point Siamese mix boy, with the most beautiful blue eyes. My fosters say that I have galaxies hidden in them!

I'm initially shy in new environments and will need to warm up in a smaller space, like a bathroom, for the first few days. While I decompress, any form of encouragement, love and companionship from humans and/or furiends is much appreciated and will help build up my confidence faster.

Once we’ve spent a little time together, I’ll start to show you my sweet and playful side. I'll come out from hiding to welcome you in the morning and quiver my tail out of excitement when I see you. I'll headbutt you and rub my body against you to politely invite pets. I'll plop down, expose my belly and do a big stretch to show that I'm feeling more relaxed. I'll also show you my playful side! I love to run around, jump and hunt any toys waving around me. Oh, and playtime is also a great way to help build up my confidence.

I am friendly and submissive to other cats, and having a confident furiend around to lead the way will help me work up the courage to venture out and explore the bigger space more quickly. If you don't have another cat, don't worry, just be sure to spend more time with me! I purromise that once we bond, I will be your most loyal buddy.

Piper

I was rescued from a ranch in Galt, CA with my sister Wednesday and my brothers Wally and Pugsley.

I’m still adjusting to my new indoor life and although I’ve made lots of progress, There are so many unfamiliar things in my foster home and it’s taking me time to adjust but thankfully my foster mom has been working with me to help me overcome my uneasiness. My more confident “big” brother and new foster furiends have also been helping me and I’m learning lots from them.

My hesitations go right out the window when it’s time to play and eat. I love playing with my foster mom and romping around with my brother Wally and my foster furiends – Cheeto Dust, and Emmy. And when it’s time to eat, I’ll be right there cheering you on while you’re getting my meal ready. As you’ve probably guessed, playtime and mealtime are purrfect times to help create a bond with me… meow.

I do enjoy receiving pets and spending time with humans but I just need some encouragement. I may not hop up next to you on my own yet but if you pick me up and place me near you or lure me up to you, I’ll know it’s okay for me to be there. When I'm relaxed and happy I am a big purr machine. I do still sometimes become startled when a human stands up and approaches me so slow approaches are greatly appreciated while we’re getting to know each other.

I do need a family who will continue to work with me and perfect my social skills. And I do need a more confident furiend in my new home who can help me build up my confidence. My brother Wally has been a rockstar in this department so if you don’t already have a young and confident kitty at home, maybe you could adopt us together!

I’m willing and purrfectly able to embrace my new indoor life with a little more help from you. I purromise your help will pay off big with me!

Prince Oliver

Prince Oliver

Hi! My name is Prince Oliver! I was abandoned in a feral colony in Tracy, CA.

I'm a playful and confident kitty, and I’m filled with love and energy! It didn’t take me any time at all adjusting to my foster home. I was immediately curious and wanted to explore every corner of the house. I haven't been afraid of anything yet, not even the robot vacuum!

I absolutely love playing with all of the toys here and will do best in a forever home where my family plays with me every day. Whether you’re waving a wand toy around for me to catch or tossing a toy for me to chase, playing with my humans makes playtime extra fun!

I love to keep my humans company and can be quite chatty. I also have a super loud purr that will melt your heart. My foster pawrents say it's genuinely the loudest purr they’ve ever heard!

I have been taking my time in terms of being cuddly/tactile but I’ll always be near you no matter what you’re doing. I love head scratches, and will politely tell you when I’ve had enough with a gentle swat or a gentle nip.

Are you looking for a purrfectly sweet and playful kitty companion? Look no further because I’m right here!

You can see more of me in my foster home here @sf_kitties and my vacation foster home here @foster_kitties_sf.

Pugsley

Pugsley

Hi! My name is Pugsley! I was rescued from a ranch in Galt, CA with my sisters Wednesday and Piper, and my brother Wally.

I’m an adorable, curious, playful and silly kitten. I’m initially a bit shyer than my sister Wednesday but my foster mom quickly figured out the fastest way to win me over… food and treats. Food is the way to my heart!

I love humans and while I might act shy when we first meet, once the food comes out, I turn into a total mush with a loud purr motor. My foster mom laughs at how easily I’m won over with something as simple as food but in my world, food is the best thing ever!

Okay, okay, maybe not the BEST thing ever but it’s right up there with humans, love, playtime, and cozy naps. I like to attract attention by rolling around on the floor while exposing my belly. I know humans can’t resist my dance moves and will want to give me belly rubs and that’s all fine with me!

Curiosity always gets the best of me when my foster mom is busy doing things around the room. I love to watch and follow her around just to see what she’s doing, it’s all so interesting. My interest peaks when it’s mealtime and I’ll express it by serenading her with my silly kitten meows. And when my sister Wednesday joins in, it’s quite the purrformance.

Another thing that peaks my interest is playtime! I’m very athletic and have so much fun running around and leaping for wand toys. Not only are toys super, but so is playing with my sister. We love to wrestle and tumble and chase each other. And when I’m tired from playing, lounging on the cat tree by the window is the purrfect place to relax.

I’m looking for a home with a young and playful furiend. If you don’t already have a kitty at home, you should adopt me with my sister Wednesday. We get along really well and our purrsonalities complement one another really well.

If you’re ready to add some cuteness and silliness to your home, you should apply for me!

Rambo

Rambo

Hi! We're Rambo and Julius! We were rescued in the Central Valley. We’re two brothers from another mother, but united as furever family!

Although I’m not a great chef, I’m a true foodie. I love to eat and I love to watch my humans eat too. You could say I have an avid mukbang hobby when it’s dinner time for the humans, getting up close and personal with curiosity.

I’m also a brave kitty for only being a couple months old, leading the way to adventure and dragging my brother Julius along with me. Once we’re in full swing, Julius takes over and we become unstoppable.

We zoom around the house and superman off sofas. Occasionally we get distracted and start doing our own things, and that’s when Julius detours… but I’m a good brother, always listening for his soft calls to direct him (mostly chase him), back to our favorite wrestling spots for a tackle.

Together, we’re the purrfect dynamic of bashful and boastful, with a passion for cuddles and play. Apply to meet us!

Saffron

Saffron

Hi! I’m Saffron! I was rescued with my sister and brothers from a field in Galt, CA.

I’m an adorable, playful, curious, and friendly ginger kitten. Although I’m confident and inquisitive, it did take me a little extra time to really settle in and reveal my affectionate side.  My playful side, however, didn’t need any extra time to shine! I’m having lots and lots of fun playing with everything and everyone, and watching me play is always entertaining. I’ll grab hold of a wand toy and try to run away with it, pounce on my siblings like a mini lion, and I’ll even turn things like a broom into a toy. I guess I just have a knack for turning everything into fun.

Sure, I love to play, but I also know how to kick back and relax, even if just for short periods of time... hehe. And now that I’ve spent time with my foster human and realized she’s fun and caring, I’m demanding more pets and hugs from her. Cuddle bug status, here I come!

I really need a playful furiend in my forever home to romp around with and keep me company. I would love to be adopted with one of my boisterous brothers or my silly sister, but if you already have a playful kitten at home who’s looking for a best furiend, I would love that too!

Sesame

Sesame

Hi! We're Sesame and Chia! We were rescued in the Central Valley.

I’m a friendly, social, curious and playful gray Tuxedo girl. I was out and about the moment I arrived in our foster home and touching noses with the other foster kitties I had never met before.

The first thing on my agenda was to join the other foster kittens who were already here having fun. I was tumbling and playing with them as soon as I left our carrier! It was like we all had known each other for all of our lives!

The next thing on my agenda was introducing myself to our new human. I know humans love me and pets, hugs and kisses are guaranteed when I go to them and look at them with my sweet eyes. I love receiving chin scritches and being scooped up for snuggles. Our foster mama picks me up and lavishes me with attention and it’s pawesome!

I'm bonded with my sister Chia and we're looking for a home together.

We can’t wait to meet our new family and start having lots of fun with them!

Slippers

Slippers

I’m a stunning Siamese Snowshoe Chocolate Point mix with a cream body and socks and a chocolate brown tail and face that frames my gorgeous aqua blue eyes. I’m a sweetheart and I love affection, like to talk, and love ear rubs, head rubs and back rubs!  All our foster mom needs to do is lay her palm out and I rest my head in it for rubs. Get this, I even like my front toes to be gently touched!  I don’t know if I’m a lap cat yet, but I’ve grown to love stretching out on the couch or bed next to our foster mom after play time. I now allow her to pick me up and am getting more and more comfortable with it. I have lots of fun running, jumping, and rolling around with my sister, Ashley. Our foster mom opens up our room so we get to explore the whole house, socialize with the resident kitties, and we’re mesmerized by watching the animal kingdom in action on TV.

Wally

Wally

Hi! My name is Wally! I was rescued from a ranch in Galt, CA with my sisters Piper and Wednesday and my brother Pugsley.

I’m a sweet, playful, and curious cutie pie. I like to think of myself as a confident kitten, especially considering I was formerly living in the great outdoors, or the not-so-great outdoors as I call it. New environments can be a little scary but I just need a little encouragement from you to help me adjust more quickly.

I’m full of curiosity and love to check things out and be a part of the action, especially when it involves playing. I’m having so much fun playing with my foster mom, my sister, and my new foster furiends. Whether I’m batting my spring and mouse toys around, leaping and jumping for wand toys, or chasing and wrestling with my furiends, I know I’m bound to have a good time.

I’m also enjoying down time with my foster mom. I really enjoy spending time with humans and snuggling up on the couch, and sleeping with them on the bed at night. I’ll probably need a little encouragement in the beginning with things like joining you on the couch but don’t worry, you can just pick me up and place me next to or on you, or better yet, offer me a treat!

You know how they say food brings people and cats together? Okay, maybe I added the cats part but food certainly brings me to you and it’s a great tool to help us bond more quickly. I’m a food enthusiast and will purr up a storm while you’re getting my meals ready.

I’m still very young and really need a young furiend in my forever home to help me become the best kitty I can be. If you don’t already have a young kitty at home, you should consider adopting me with my sister Piper, or one of my foster furiends - Cheeto Dust or Emmy.

Wednesday

Wednesday

Hi! My name is Wednesday! I was rescued from a ranch in Galt, CA with my sister Piper and my brothers Pugsley and Wally.

Am I the cutest? Yes I am. Am I the sweetest? Yes I am. And I may be small in size but my purrsonality is huge. I’m confident, playful, affectionate, and friendly. What more could you ask for?

I love humans and have been busy showing my foster mom just how much. I run to greet her when she opens the door, I sit on her lap while purring away and playing with her sweatshirt strings, and when she’s standing, I like to sit at her feet and softly squeak to get her attention. I’m very curious and love to watch her and follow her around while she does things in the room.

I also love to play and show off my athleticism! When the wand toy comes out, be ready because I’ll be jumping, running, and pouncing with spunk. Sometimes I don’t even need a toy because my brother Pugsley is here and we have so much fun wrestling and chasing each other.

When it’s time to relax and recharge for more love and play, I like to lounge on the cat tree by the window with Pugsley and watch the birdies together.

I’m looking for a home with a young and playful furiend. If you don’t already have a kitty at home, you should adopt me with my brother Pugsley. We get along really well and our purrsonalities complement one another really well.

My life balance consists of love, play and laze, and I can’t wait to share it all with you!

Woody

Woody

Hi! I'm Woody! I was found in a feral colony in Tracy, CA.

I’m an adorable, sweet and playful kitten with a purrfectly innocent face humans adore. I can initially be shy in new environments but it doesn't last long. My foster meowmy helped me out by giving me lots of pets, lots of playtime, and lots of treats… okay maybe not lots of treats but even a few seems like lots after living on the streets. After spending some time getting to know my foster furiend Mya, I'm enjoying lots of cuddles and playtime!

I love to play and have been busy chasing toys, practicing my tumbling skills, and fooling around with Mya. I’m also having fun playing with our foster meowmy, she knows it’s impossible for me to say no to a wand toy!

Although I wish I could play all day long, even I don’t have that much energy. Honestly, I enjoy relaxing almost as much as playing. I like to hang out on a cat tree with Mya while we watch everything that’s going on around us, chill inside a tunnel, or unwind in a nice comfy bed or on a lap.

I'm looking for a family who understands it might take a little time for me to fully open up and who will offer some encouragement along the way. And I do need a furry companion to play with and keep me company. If you don't already have kitty at home, you should consider adopting me with my foster furiend Mya because we already get along! I purromise your patience and love will pay off big with me. I have lots of love to share and can’t wait to share it all with my new family!

You can see more of me in my foster home here @jackiesfosters and my previous foster home @montecore827.
