Hi! I'm Olivia! My previous human had a health condition that kept her at home most of the time and chose ME to be the purrfect companion! It was really wonderful hanging around the apartment with her, playing together, and watching the street life outside our windows. Sadly, a few months ago her health deteriorated and it became more difficult for her to take care of both herself and me. Eventually she had to move to a new place where she can receive the care she needs. I was lonely, even with kind neighbors stopping in for visits to take care of me, but thankfully one of the neighbor’s friends said I could stay with her until I could join my human again. Unfortunately, it turns out that my human’s new place doesn’t allow pets.
I’m a full-figured tuxedo lady with big purrs to match. I love head rubs, massages, and brushing. I guess you can say I’m a touchy feely kitty. I’m very social and especially enjoy sitting nearby while you’re watching tv, listening to music or visiting with friends.
I miss my previous human but my foster mom has been very loving and caring which has really helped comfort me. She even put me on a high protein/low carb diet which I really needed, especially after all of that stress eating! I've already lost a little weight and at my last vet visit the staff complimented me and told me I'm looking healthier already! All she had to do was read the ingredients, it’s nothing complicated or super special and I really need my new family to continue feeding me a healthy diet so I can live a long and happy life. And while it’s cozy here and I’m well taken care of, I don’t get along with the resident cat and will be so much happier I’m the only kitty again.
I’ve been through a lot lately but it hasn’t dampened my spirits! I have so much love to share with my new family and can’t wait to meet them!
